The article describes global changes and their impact on the dairy sector. First of all author discusses growth of the scale of milk production decreases in the number of dairy farmers and companies, internalisation, regional specialisation and new dairy products as an examples of globalisation in the world's dairy sector. Finally the author presents forthcoming global model of the dairy industry.

W pracy przedstawiono ogólnoświatowe przemiany oraz ich wpływ na sektor mleczarski. Autor podkreśla, że zwiększenie skali produkcji mleka powoduje zmniejszenie liczby gospodarstw mlecznych oraz firm przetwarzających mleko, internacjonalizacją, specjalizację regionalną i pojawianie się nowych produktów mlecznych jako przykładów globalizacji światowego sektora mleczarskiego. Przewidywane przyszłe trendy dotyczące tego sektora związane są z postępującą globalizacją, a więc będzie to dalsza koncentracja produkcji i przetwórstwa mleka oraz zmniejszenie liczby firm przetwarzających mleko.
