Agricultural technology, like chemistry, has the most aggressive impact on the environment, especially on soil, plants and animals. In agricultural practice, the user of implements and equipment is interested mainly in production and in its economic outcome, and rather not concerned about the adverse impact of these activities which cannot be perceived when pursued, but appearing after some time. The research programs implemented so far, evaluation methods and specifications for agricultural machinery included environmental requirements only to a minimum extent, or not at all.
