The paper has a theoretical and practical discussion about the household. There are provide the dynamic model of monetary indices system and the pattern of domestic accounting are developed, as well as the results of methodological evaluation for a five-person household in the countryside of Latvia. The developed analysis models for private households enable household advisory services to elaborate the methodological basis.

The basic cell of our society is the family, but the promoter of national economy processes and products receiver is the household. The purpose of sustainable development is to reach social and economic well-being, indicator of which is prosperity and comfort of each individual. Final products of private household processes are benefits acquired by household members including human resources formation. To make these products, production resources must be used. The goal of this work is to estimate the resources controlled by households, as well as their structure. The objectives require to systemise household resources and to evaluate them from the point of view of sustainable development. The results are as follows: the groups of benefits most often used by households are labour, money, private benefits, public benefits, natural resources, and human rights. Monetary income, private benefits are distributed unequally, distribution of public benefits depends upon state policy, but human rights provide equal possibilities for their consumption.
