This paper reviews five species of Limbobotys Munroe et Mutuura that occur in the Oriental Region. One species, L. acanthi sp. nov., is described as new. Diagnoses are provided for all previously described species. The adult and genitalia of the new species are figured, and a key to all the known species is provided.
Eight new species of the Tribe Megapenthini Gurjeva, 1973 from China, Laos, and from the Philippines are described and illustrated: Cateanus kucerai sp. nov., Friedrichiellus luzonensis sp. nov., Gamepenthes kresli sp. nov., G. phoupanensis sp. nov., G. shinuishanensis sp. nov., G. turnai sp. nov., Megapenthes jintangensis sp. nov., Procraerus kresli sp. nov. A key to the species of the genus Gamepenthes Fleutiaux, 1928 from China, and one from Laos and Vietnam is provided, zoogeographical and taxonomical remarks as well as a discussion on the phylogenetic importance of some characters of the species and their ecobiotic life are given.
Megalocolaspoides borneoensis sp. nov. is described. A revised key for the genera of Colaspoides-group is given. An unusual structure of the spermatheca, namely the ductus in this genus is discussed.

New Phoma species on Leonurus cardiaca

88%
Two species of Phoma obtained from motherwort Leonurus cardiacaL., during mycological analyses attendant upon three-years study connected healthiness of the plants. Isolates of Phoma capitulum were obtained from roots, whereas Phoma septicidalis from roots and leaves. Description in vitro, photos of morphological structures and distribution of Phoma spp. are given. This is the first report of P. capitulum and P. septicidalis on motherwort in Poland.
The occurrence and elements of morphology of P. negriana Thüm. were studied. The fungus cultures were isolated from grapevine canes cultivated in South–East Poland. Grapevine stems from which the cultures of P. negriana were obtained showed symptoms of necrosis and bark crashes. The species of the fungus was identified on the basis of pycnidia and conidia morphology, the character of colonies growth and biochemical features of the studied isolates.

The first finding of Mimomys in the Russian Far East

88%
A new species of the Mimomys is described from the Far East Russia (the Medvezhyi Klyk cave, Sikhote-Alin). Layer 7 of the Medvezhyi Klyk cave (1.08–1.18 m) was dated to be 13 790–14 200 BP. Mimomys chandolensis sp. nov. was found in a deeper layer (2.63–2.68 m) and therefore assuming there was no redeposition of the remains and that the accumulation proceeded gradually, the molar specimen we found is 30–50 kyr old. Due to the extent of the preservation we observed in the molar and the structure of the cave, the specimen does not seem likely to have been redeposited. Our hypothesis is that due to the warm and wet climate of the region, the vole, which became extinct more than 600 kyr ago, had been extant there by the Late Pleistocene period. The new species is hypsodont, with a few cement, a lack of enamel isle or prismatic fold; tangential and lamellar layers of enamel ultrastructure are poorly expressed.
The species of the genus Poecilosomella Duda, 1925 from continental China are reviewed. Six species are now known to occur in continental China. Two species, Poecilosomella biseta sp. nov. and Poecilosomella guangdongensis sp. nov., are described as new to science. A key is presented to separate these species.
Among Phoridae collected at Sallanches (France, Rhóne-Alpes) are Megaselia marekdurskii Disney, previously only known from Poland, and the new species: M. betrugspinata Disney sp. n., M. museoconfluentis Disney sp. n., M. siffointei Disney sp. n. and M. similipropinqua Disney sp. n.
