The purpose of the work was to assess the efficacy of the combined administration of Vetaraxoid and Sofan in the treatment of atopic inflammation of external auditory ducts in dogs. The treatment of 30 dogs with the signs of acute erythema, proliferative inflammation and papillary changes of external auditory ducts was carried out by means of Vetaraxoid (Pfizer) anti-allergic and anti-inflammatory drug and Sofan (Pfizer), an area specific one. A high efficacy of the combined treatment was confirmed. Within 3 months since finishing the treatment no recurrence was noted and a free passage of auditory ducts with proliferative and papillary changes was maintained.
