From the Roztocze - an upplandisch region in southern-eastern Poland and in western Ukraine - 56 species of Orthopteraare recorded, among them some rare in Central Europe: Poecilimon ukrainicus, Podisma pedestris, Stauroderus scalaris. The most characteristic feature of the regional fauna is a coexistence of boreal-montane species and South-European ones.

The caddisflies of Roztocze (SE Poland) were studied from 1986 to 1990. Fifty-five species were recorded on the basis of larval forms, pupae and adults. One of the species - Apolonia midiebris - is new to the Polish fauna.

The investigations into land Heteroptera of Roztocze (SE Poland) were conducted from 1986 to 1989. 316 species were recorded. 416 species of Heteroptera are known from the region now. There were recorded three species new to the Polish fauna: Peritrechus angusticollis, Temnostethus longirostris and Pinalitus viscicola. The quantitative structure of Heteroptera communities in various plant associations was presented.

W efekcie prowadzonych prac oceniono wpływ różnych czynników decydujących o natężeniu procesów erozyjnych. Wielkości odpływu wody, soli i zawiesin oraz intensywność procesów erozyjnych przedstawiono w tabeli 1.
