The effects of globalisation and the technological advances of the last 20 years profoundly the pace of change and the severity of competition in the business environment compared to the previous five decades. In response to this rapidly changing business environment, management theorists and scholars are constantly putting forth new ideas to help corporations succeed in this turbulent word. whether it is the Total Quality Management (TQM) of the 1980s or Business Process Reengeering (BPR) of the 1990s, the one central theme common to these management ideas is the concept of process management. The dramatic shift to an information- intensive economy and the proliferation of e-business have created a new urgency for a new form of business process redesign or reengineering. Many managers start reengineering by deploying information technology and then adapting the users of information and the skills of their people to the technology. Information technology as source of innovative can contribute to positive manner for incrementation of growth of local competitiveness of firm, through designing basic processes again and on client subsidiary orientate. It present main classic conception of management in article and modern organizational systems, with particular taking into consideration process organization Results of personal research are presented in change of manner of functioning firm next concerning role computerized information system class ERP.
The paper presents the idea of the Community Eco-Management and Audit Scheme (EMAS) and experiences of polish organizations in its implementation. The author shows how the benefits of the implementation of the EMAS, but also examines the barriers and difficulties in its start-up. In the EU and EEA (European Economic Area) register of EMAS (as of 31.03.2009) there were 4331 organizations and over 6896 objects. As shown by the results of studies conducted by the author, this system, despite of the obvious benefits to society in Poland is still unknown. As of 31.03.2009, in Poland a total of 17 organizations, compared to 1419 organizations in Germany or 1063 organizations in Spain, and 978 organizations in Italy, and even 36 organizations in the Czech Republic, is very few. Both the scientific community and public institutions should integrate into the wider sustainable development and promoting the benefits of the implementation of EMAS in the organization. Sustainable development is essential to the life of humans, living organisms are not exacerbated, and at the same time, the economy developed, the objectives can be achieved through the voluntary implementation of EMAS.
