The aim of performed studies in frame of Post-Registration Variety Testing System was the assessment of economic value of registered winter oilseed rape cultivars, and their usefulness for cultivation in different regions as well as climatic and soil conditions. Field experiments with winter oilseed rape cultivars were carried out in the district of Wielkopolska in four localities (Experimental Stations for Variety Testing) in 2006–2009. The following agricultural features of cultivars were taken into consideration: overwintering, plant height, yielding and intensity of disease occurrence (Sclerotinia sclerotiorum and Phoma lingam). The results of evaluation of phytosanitary conditions of winter oilseed rape cultivars were compared with the assessment of the Main Inspectorate of Plant Heath and Seed Inspection. On the basis of obtained results some winter oilseed rape varieties can be recommended for agricultural practice in climate and soil conditions of Wielkopolska region. Moreover, the results of presented studies are very useful in working out a strategy of integrated production of winter oilseed rape organic farming production system.
