Przedstawiono program odbywającego się cyklicznie Sympozjum „Czwartorzędowe sole amoniowe i obszary ich zastosowania w gospodarce”. Kolejna VII Konferencja da możliwość zaprezentowania dokonań pracowników naukowych zajmujących się badaniami czwartorzędowych soli amoniowych z uwzględnieniem cieczy jonowych.

The aim of the Symposium is to present the latest achievements of specialists in various scientific disciplines who deal with physical chemistry, synthesis, surface and biological activity, toxicology, and analytics of quaternary ammonium salts, as well as the use of quaternary ammonium salts for protection of wood and paper, for catalysis, separation processes, and biomass degradation. During the Symposium the participants will have a chance to listen to 16 lectures and acquaint themselves with over 80 posters. Afterwards the materials will be published in the form of scientific articles in the journals “Przemysł Chemiczny” or “Drewno”. A discussion panel planned for the end of the Symposium will allow summary of current state of research in scientific centres dealing with the issue of quaternary ammonius salts.
