The use of a product as a marketing instrument means specific approach based on adjusting the product to current and future needs and requirements of the consumers. Such approach is defined as product strategy. Elements of such interpretation of product strategy are: product, brand and packaging. Marketing activities with regards to a product are expressed in three basic fields: product launch, product life cycle, and product offering management.
