Among the investigated four herbicides at the concentration of 2.5 µmol·dm⁻³, linuron (included in the specimen Afalon 450 SC) highly decreased the electron transport rate (ETR) in the leaves of sugar beet and Beta vulgaris L.; the additional application of Atpolan at the concentration of 0.05% (v/v) oncreased the effect. Phen- medipham (in Betanal Elite 274 EC) and chloridazon (in Burex 80 WP), applied to sugar beat crops did not change the ETR value in leaves of this species, also in the mixture with Atpolan, while the activity of this specimen was very strong in Cheno- podium album L. The activity of the adjuvant Atpolan was more expressed in a mixture with chloridazon (in Burex 80 WP) on the weed leaves. Both studied plant species showed a similar high tolerance to metamitron (Buramet 70 WG), also in the mixture with the adjuvant Atpolan.

Spośród badanych czterech herbicydów o stężeniu 2,5 µmol·dm⁻³, linuron zawarty w preparacie Afalon 450 SC, silnie hamował transport elektronów, obniżając wartość ETR w liściach buraka cukrowego i komosy białej, dodanie adiuwanta Atpolan w stężeniu 0.05% (v/v) pogłębiło ten efekt.
