Die im Titel angeführte Sammlung zählt fast 400 Arten und Unterarten auf, die gegenwärtig als „gute” Taxa anerkannt sind, zuzüglich manche unsichere. Mehr als 190 Arten/Unterarten sind als „Typen” vertreten, darunter 97 als Holo- oder Lectotypen. Die vorliegenden 33 Typen der nominellen Arten und Varietäten, die heute als Synonyme betrachtet sind, werden auch erwähnt. Für jede Art wird kurz vorgestellt: die im MIZ aufbewahrten Schalen- und Alkoholmaterialien sowie die vorhandenen mikroskopischen Präparate von Radula und von Genitalien. Bei den Arten, die als Typen vorliegen, wird die entsprechende Grundliteratur zitiert.

The collection mentioned in the title includes nearly 400 species and subspecies, regarded at present as valid, and a few of uncertain status. Over 190 species/subspecies are represented by types, 97 of them by holo- or lectotypes. Besides, types of 33 nominal species and varieties, at present regarded as synonyms, are mentioned. Shell and alcohol-preserved materials, microscope slides of radulae and genitalia, are listed in an abbreviated form for each species. For species that are represented by types respective literature references are cited.
