Несоединенный дополнительный отросток — это одна из многих врожденных аномалий развития локтевого сустава. Этот изъян зиагнозировано клиническим и рентгеновским исследованием у 9 немецких овчарок, 1 басета, 1 афганской борзой и 2 догов. В 3 слу rаях болезнью были объяты оба локтевых сустава. У 1 пациента, басета, кроме несоединенного дополнительного отростка, произошло преждевременное закрытие ростового хряща дальнейшей локтевой кости. На рентгенограммах отмечались полосчатые прояснения, отделяющие треугольную тень дополнительного отростка от локтевого отростка.

Unjoined accessory process is one of the many inhertited anomalies of the elbow joint. This anomaly was diagnosed by clinical and X-ray examinations in 9 German shepard, 1 basset, 1 grayhound and in 2 Great danes. In three cases this anomaly was observed in two elbow joints. In one dog (basset) an accessory anomaly, a premature closure of the growth cartilage of a distal ulnar bone, was found. On rentgenogramms a strand clearings demarcating a triangular shade of the accessory process from the ulnar process were observed.
