In the districts of Srem and Gostyń (Province of Poznań) 1259 persons have been tested for parasites by means of decantation, Fiilleborne, and Rivas methods; the results obtained were 338 positive findings. The first place in the mentioned area belongs to the invasion of T. trichiura. More accurate results depend on the sex (Males table No. 2, Females table No. I) and age of the examined people. The relation between the total amount and the infestated persons in different groups of worms and in the classes of town and country population is shown in tables.
