Próbki gleb pobrano spod pszenicy ozimej odmiany Sukces (S) i odmiany Roma (R) uprawianych w trzech systemach: ekologicznym (E), integrowanym (I) i monokulturze (M) w Stacji Doświadczalnej IUNG-PIB w Osinach (woj. lubelskie).

Glomalins are glycoproteins produced by endomycorrhizae fungi, that surrounds soil aggregates and protects them from destroying. Glomalins are especially resistant to destruction, hard to dissolve in water, while very easy dissolve in high temperature (121°C; 250°F) in citrate buffer with neutral or alkali pH. Their extraction from the soil requires almost one hour of sterilization. These properties make glomalins very stable compounds that are perfect “jacket” for protection of soil aggregates against degradation, however they are also diffi cult to understand and determining their exact construction The aim of the study was to demonstrate the presence of total and easy extractable glomalins in soils from different tillage systems of winter wheat. Soil samples were taken from winter wheat fi elds, variety Sukces (S) and variety Roma (R) in three different tillage systems: organic (E), integrated (I) and monoculture (M) in Experimental Station of IUNG- PIB in Osiny (lubelskie voivodship). Individual systems were kept in different crop rotation and different agricultural treatment appropriate for a given system. The taken soil samples were examined for total content of glomalins and biological activity, expressed in total number of soil microorganisms and enzymatic activity. It was demonstrated, that the amount of glomalins produced by endomycorrhizae fungi, depended on the tillage system and was not correlated with total carbon and organic matter in soil. In organic system of tillage, the production and content of glomalins were signifi cantly higher than in integrated and monoculture systems.
