Metodą atomowej spektrometrii emisyjnej z plazmą wzbudzoną indukcyjnie (ICP-AES) oznaczono zawartość Ag, Al, Ba, Ca, Cd, Co, Cr, Cu, Fe, K, Mg, Mn, Na, Ni, P, Pb, Rb, Sr i Zn w owocnikach (osobno kapeluszach i trzonach) gąski zielonki oraz w substracie glebowym z terenu gminy Rzeczenica (powiat człuchowski) w woj. pomorskim.

Ag, Al, Ba, Ca, Cd, Co, Cr, Cu, Fe, K, Mg, Mn, Na, Ni, P, Pb, Rb, Sr and Zn have been determined in Sand Knight-cap and soil substrate collected from the area of the Rzeczenica County. Also have been calculated BCF values of elements in cap and stalks of Sand Knight-cap. Mushroom and soil samples were collected in fall of 2003. Elements were determined by ICP-AES. Cadmium and lead content of the caps of Sand Knight-cap was 1,2 ± 0,3 and 0,80 ± 0,55 mg/kg d.m., respectively (max. up to 1,7 and 2,3 mg/kg d.m.). The caps and stalks of Sandy-Knight cap were relatively abundant in potassium with 45000 and 36000 mg/kg d.m., respectively, and also in phosphorous with 5500 and 3500; sodium with 930 and 2400; magnesium with 1000 and 710; rubidium with 830 and 380; calcium with 250 and 110; iron with 240 and 120; aluminum with 230 and 130; zinc with 230 and 130; mangane with 46 and 20 and copper with 38 and 28 mg/kg d.m. Silver, barium and cadmium in the caps of Sandy-Knight cap were at the concentration of an order of 1.0 mg/kg d.m., while chromium, nickel and cobalt at < 0,5 mg/kg d.m. Data on mineral composition of Sand Knight-cap available from an open scientific literature are reviewed.
