Autorzy przedstawiają wyniki leczenia (czas wdrożenia pełnego żywienia i czas hospitalizacji) 13 noworodków z wrodzonym wytrzewieniem, u których prenatalnie wykonywano wymiany płynu owodniowego oraz 16 noworodków bez jakichkolwiek interwencji prenatalnych leczonych w tym samym czasie. Przeprowadzone badania wykazały korzystny wpływ wymiany płynu owodniowego u ciężarnych na przebieg pooperacyjny u noworodków manifestujący się wcześniejszym wdrożeniem pełnego żywienia doustnego i krótszym czasem hospitalizacji.

The authors present results of the treatment (the time to full oral feeding and the time of hospitalization) of 13 newborns with gastroschisis, in whom prenatally the exchange of amniotic fluid was done and 16 newborns with gastroschisis but without any prenatal interventions. The study shows profitable influence of the exchange of the amniotic fluid on the postoperative outcome manifesting itself with earlier full oral feeding and shorter hospitalization.
