W trzyletnich badaniach określono wpływ terminu sadzenia bulw sparaksisu trójbarwnego (kwiecień i maj) na plon i jakość kwiatów oraz bulw. Na podstawie uzyskanych wyników stwierdzono, że sadzenie bulw w kwietniu lub maju nie wpływa na plon kwiatów, ani ich jakość, z wyjątkiem długości pędów kwiatostanowych. Okres jaki upływa od posadzenia bulw do rozpoczęcia kwitnienia, skraca się w miarę opóźniania terminu ich sadzenia. Rośliny uzyskane z bulw sadzonych w późniejszym terminie potrzebują więcej czasu, aby osiągnąć pełnię kwitnienia i okres ich kwitnienia jest dłuższy. Opóźnienie terminu sadzenia bulw wpływa korzystnie na jakość bulw potomnych wytworzonych przez roślinę, pozostając bez wpływu na ich plon.

In 3-year experiments the effect of the time of planting of Sparaxis tricolor corms (April or May) on the yield and quality of flowers and corms was investigated. The obtained results showed that the planting of corms in April or May did not affect the yield of flowers or their quality, except for the length of inflorescences. The period from planting of corms to the beginning of flowering was shorter with later planting dates. Plants obtained from corms planted at later dates require more time for reaching the full blooming and the period of flowering is longer. The later planting time favourably affects the quality of corms developed by plants, being irrelevant to their yield.
