The actually realized educational program in agricultural engineering in Poland requires, in the view of transformations in Polish agriculture, serious alterations. In developing a new agricultural engineering curriculum following criteria were assumed: the employment opportunites for the graduates by industry or small agricultural or food process enterprises or other located in the villiages and also the educational needs of the graduates as seen by the academic teachers.
