W oparciu o dane reprezentatywne dla Polski w 2005 r. przeprowadzono statystyczną analizę warunków bytu młodych rodzin. Otrzymane w ramach analizy wnioski mogą stanowić wskazówki dla prowadzenia efektywnej polityki społecznej przez państwo w zakresie mieszkalnictwa.

A statistical analysis of the life conditions of young families was performed on the basis of representative data for Poland. The obtained results help draw a conclusion that in the case of nearly 15% of all young marriages proper housing conditions were not achieved and these families do not independently shape their existence. This result enables an estimate of the real volume of the housing deficit that takes into account young marriages at a level of 250 thousand flats. The other part of the research sample is motivated by a will to change its conditions in order to achieve an above average level. The aforementioned conclusions may represent guidelines for conducting effective social policy by the state in the scope of housing.
