Badano aktywność celulolityczną trzech gatunków grzybów uprawowych: boczniaka ostrygowatego, boczniaka mikołajkowego i pieczarki dwuzarodnikowej. Do oznaczania aktywności tych enzymów wykorzystano metodą Somogyi-Nelsona.

Cellulolytic activity of three cultivated mushroom species, Agaricus campestris, Pleurotus ostreatus and Pleurotus eryngii, was determined from their glucose content. The Somogyi-Nelson method and three substrates: 0.5% aqueous solution of carboxymethylcellulose (NaCMC), 0.5% aqueous suspension of carboxymethylcellulose (MC), and 0.5% aqueous suspension of microcrystalline carboxymethylcellulose (Avicel) were employed to determine the celulolytic activity. Microcrystalline carboxymethylcellulose (Avicel) was found to be the most suitable substrate for the determination of the cellulolytic activity.
