Badano zmiany frakcji żelaza i manganu w kompostach samego osadu ściekowego oraz z dodatkiem odpadu przemysłu tytoniowego. Udział metali w poszczególnych frakcjach operacyjnych różnił się w zależności od rodzaju kompostu i czasu inkubacji.

The incubation experiment were conducted with sewage sludge solely and jointly with tabacco waste. Results show that iron and manganese have undergone different transformations. Iron in the sewage sludge occurred basically in less soluble chemical forms and the addition of tabacco influenced changes only within these bonds. On the other hand, manganese in the sludge was found mainly in the residual and bounds organic fraction. The addition of tabacco waste have notably increased the pool of readily soluble manganese.
