In this publication the author discusses the results of the empirical researches on innovative inclination of the European Union citizens. Particular accent is put on system approach to innovation activity which is based on supply and demand side of this activity. The attention is payd on relations between typology of the European Union citizens' attitudes to innovations and other features influencing on their interests in innovations too.
