The review of literature and conclusions of own trials on the influence of few selected bioregulators on calcium content in apples and on their storage behaviour were presented. It was found, that the bioregulators can improve the calcium supply into fruits and in consequence, improve their storage quality. However, due to numerous factors which can modify the efficacy of bioregulators, it is difficult to anticipate the results of using these compounds.
