Badania opłacalności i rentowności produkcji skór lisów oraz hodowlanego materiału przeprowadzono w fermie lisów w Lubiechowie. Zakres czasowy badań szczegółowych obejmuje lata 1988-1990, zaś opracowany model empiryczny fermy w warunkach niestabilnych skonstruowano dla warunków 1994 roku. W badaniach stosowano trzy podstawowe metody badań, tj. metodę analizy ekonomicznej pionowej, kalkulacji niepełnych i modelową. W skonstruowanym statystycznym modelu rachunkowym dla bardziej stabilnych warunków produkcji i silnym powiązaniu chowu lisów z rynkiem - wytwarzane skóry i materiał hodowlany lisów pospolitych i polarnych cechuje średni wskaźnik rentowności wyrażany punktami procentowymi 46,1. Zysk z fermy w przyszłości winien ustabilizować się. Powinien on być przeznaczony na inwestycje, polepszenie jakości stada reprodukcyjnego i winien stworzyć warunki do rozwoju konkurencyjnej lepszej jakościowo produkcji.

An assessment of profitability and remunerativeness of fox furs and breeding stock was carried out on a farm at Lubiechowo. A detailed evaluation was taken over the years 1988-1990, and an empirical model of farm under unstable economic conditions was constructed for 1994. Three basic methods were used in the evaluation: vertical economic analysis, incomplete calculation and model method. The synthesis of the evaluation performed shows that in the years 1988 and 1989 the production of fox furs and breeding animals was profitable and remunerative (Wr=60.0% and 127.9%), but in 1990 the remunerativeness was negative (Wr = -17.4%). The static mathematical model, that was constructed for more stable production conditions and with strong relation between fox production and the market, shows that the furs and breeding material produced of common and polar foxes was characterized by an average remunerative index of 46.1%. Farm profit is expected to become stable in the future. It should be allocated for investment, improvement of the breeding stock and creation of competitive development and better quality of production.
