Ergonomiczne podejście do układu kierowca - ciągnik przyczyniło się do stopniowej poprawy bezpieczeństwa funkcjonowania tego układu w terenie podgórskim. Postąp w rozwiązaniach np. ram ochronnych i sygnalizatorów przechyłu wynika w dużej mierze z badań ergonomicznych.

Since the introduction of tractors' protective frames in Sweden 40 years ego the operation of the driver - tractor system in highland agriculture became safer for several reasons. Apart from the protection of the driver's workplace in case of an overturning, the now frequently used 4-wheel drive is an important safety feature. Electronic slope monitoring installations are also available on the market. Based on experience, safe operation rules are better known owing to modern extension methods.
