Analiza specjacyjna nieorganicznych form selenu w wodach i innych napojach

Za pomocą chromatografii cieczowej w układzie faz odwróconych dokonano rozdzielenia i identyfikacji trzech nieorganicznych form selenu w postaci anionów: selenianowych (IV) SeO32- , selenianowych (VI) SeO42- selenkowych Se2-. W wyniku badań wód i napojów wykazano, ze dominującą formą selenu nieorganicznego w tych próbkach są se emany (IV), którym w niektórych próbkach towarzyszą niewielkie ilości selenianów (VI) i/lub selenków Se2-.

The aim of this work was to implement reversed phase high performance liquid chromatography (RP-HPLC) with UV detection to study speciation of selenium in selected samples of natural water, coloured drinks and juices. Aqueous solutions of sodium selenite (Na2SeO3) and sodium selenate (Na2SeO4) containing SeO32-, SeO42-- and Se2- ions were tested on a Dionex (Germany) HPLC apparatus. A reversed-phase C18,ODS (250 • 4.0 nm; 5 µm) column was used as the solid phase. A mixture of 4 ml phospate tetrabutylamonium, 498 ml methanol, 498 ml water brought to pH 3.4 was used as the liquid phase. Liquid phase flow velocity was 1 ml/min. Sample solution volume in the column was 5 µl. Se2- was not detected in 28 of 52 examined samples. SeO42- was not found in 18 samples. Content of Se2-- in examined samples was found to be lowest, ranging between 2 • 10-4 and 6 • 10-4 µg Se/l. In the majority of the examined samples, the average content of SeO42-- ranged from 0,75 to 1,20 µg Se/l. In our experiment, highest SeO32- contents of 1.0 to 3.20 µg Se/l were found in the coloured drinks.
