The work presents a detailed analysis of the problem connected with kinematics of the movement of the working elements (milling knives) of the pendulous bottom unloader, used for unloading a tower silo, filled with ensilaged plant material. The analysis iet us determine mathematical dependence which describes a course of a milling knife, its speed and acceleration. To verify mathematical dependence a model of an unloader, in a laboratory scale, was constructed. Experiments carried out on this model confirmed the introduced dependence.
