Niemiecki i polski sektor mięsny mają silną pozycję w Unii Europejskiej.

The German and Polish meat sectors have a significant position in the European Union. Germany is the biggest producer of meat in the EU-15, Poland - among the new members (EU-10). The structure of production is similar in both countries, although, in Poland the labor productivity is lower. The price competitiveness of Polish meat sector increases together with the food processing level and seems to have a permanent nature. It is of an essential meaning due to the fact that Germany is the most important trade partner of the Polish food industry.
