W trzech próbkach miodu (ziołomiodów i miodu wielokwiatowego) oznaczono metodą spektrometrii absorpcji atomowej AAS zawartość biopierwiastków i metali toksycznych: Ca, Mg, Zn, Cu, Fe, Pb, Cd, Al, Cr, Ni i Mn.

Content of bioelements and toxic metals such as: Ca, Mg, Zn, Cu, Fe, Pb, Cd, Al, Cr, Ni, and Mn in three samples of honey (herb honey and floral honey) was determined by atomic absorption spectrometry AAS. It was found that in the tested honeys the highest amounts are of: Ca (127 - 199 µg/g), Mg (23,5 - 26,9 µg/g), and Fe (2,26 - 3,43 µg/g). Concentration of lead is high, but lower than permissible content (regulation of the Minister of Health of 4 March 2003). Amounts of other toxic elements (Cd, Ni, and Cr) are at limit detection level. Concentration of Al (about 1 µg/g ) is similar in all examined honeys.
