The investigated materials were vermicomposts: produced from cattle farm yard manure, waste activated sludge with the addition of different organic materials and beds after mushrooms production. The vermicomposts were produced in controlled conditions from the materials collected from farms located at Siedlce region. The total content of iron and manganese in investigated samples after dry combustion were determinated by ICP-AES method. The mean content of iron and manganese reached from fallowing materials respectively : vermicomposts from cattle farm yard manure 1871 and 186; vermicomposts on the base of waste activated sludges 8043 and 282; beds after mushroom production 4353 and 328 mg/kg of D.M. The highest content of iron was determinated in the vermicomposts samples produced from waste activated sludges and the lowest in vermicomposts produced from cattle farmyard manure. In the case of manganese the highest content of this element was determinated in beds after mushrooms production, the lowest in vermicomposts from farm yard manure.
