Taxonomy of the genus Blacodatus Koch, 1963 with description of a new species from South Africa (Coleoptera: Tenebrionidae: Opatrini)

Blacodatus szutkowskii, sp. nov. from South Africa is described, illustrated and compared with its relative - Blacodatus vertagus (Mulsant et Rey, 1859). A new generic concept of the previously monotypie Blacodatus is proposed. The distribution map is presented.
