Badania dotyczyły zmienności florystycznej chwastów w uprawie cebuli i marchwi w dwóch se¬zonach wegetacyjnych lat 2009 i 2010, różniących się warunkami meteorologicznymi. Obserwa¬cje przeprowadzono w doświadczeniach z biologiczną oceną skuteczności herbicydów: w cebuli (pendimetalina w dawkach 1137,5; 1592,5 i 990,0 g s.a.-ha-1) i w marchwi (mieszanina linuronu z chlomazonem 250+45; 375+67,5 i 500+90 g s.a.-ha4) zastosowanych bezpośrednio po siewie. W obiek¬tach kontrolnych określono liczbę gatunków, świeżą masę chwastów i wskaźniki biocenotyczne, a w traktowanych herbicydami stopień zniszczenia chwastów. Wartości wskaźników biocenotycznych: wskaźnik różno¬rodności Shannona-Wienera (H'), równomierności rozmieszczenia (J) i dominacji Simpsona (C) odzwierciedlały wpływy różnych technologii uprawy tych warzyw oraz różnic w przebiegu warun¬ków pogody - opadów i temperatury.

Studies on floristic diversity of weeds in onion and carrot crops depending on sum of rainfall were carried out in two vegetative seasons (2009 and 2010) in different moisture conditions. Observa¬tions were performed on field experimental plots established to assess biological efficacy of her¬bicides used directly after sowing. Onion crop was protected using pendimethalin (1137.5; 1592.5 and 990.g a.s.ha-1), and carrot crop was treated with a mixture of herbicides linuron and clomazone (250+45; 375+67,5; 500+90 g a.s.ha-1). Three assessments of weed infestation in vegetable crops (onion, carrot) were performed both on treated objects and untreated - control at the following dates: phase of 2 leaves, closing row spacing and before harvest. In the control objects the number of weed species, fresh weight of weeds and biocenotic indexes were determined. Considering pro¬tected objects, the level of regulated weeds was assessed. Soil moisture status conditioned by sum of rainfall during the period of vegetation did not influence changes in weed species composition of primary weed infestation in onion and carrot objects. On the other hand, it considerably affected secondary weed infestation. On the basis of obtained results it was stated that during vegetative season characterized by a low sum of rainfall (249.1 mm) the number of weed species and the number of weed plants per area unit were smaller. In the season with a great sum of rainfall (447 mm) the number of weed species was comparable at both primary and secondary weed infestation, however, the number of weed plants at the secondary weed infestation per 1 m2 was higher. Regar¬dless of rainfall course in both vegetative seasons on the control plots and treated with herbicides prevailed the following weed species: Chenopodium album, Galiusoga parviflora, Amaranthus retroflexus, Echinochloa crus-galli. Their share in weed infestation structure despite significant quantity changes ranged from 75.5% (carrot) to 92.0% (onion). The obtained values for biocenotic indexes: Shannon-Wiener index (H'), evenness index (J), Simpson dominance index (C) were related to differences in cultivation measures in vegetable crops as well as to the sum of rainfall in comparable experimental seasons. Herbicides applied in onion and carrot crops showed a high herbicidal efficacy. No phytotoxic effect was stated after using pendimethalin at recommended doses in onion crops. The mixture of herbicides linuron and clomazone gave transitional phtotoxicity in carrot crops. As a result of re¬ducing weed competitiveness in protected object with herbicides, the obtained values of yield were significantly higher as compared to the untreated - control objects.
