The article presents the results of tests on resistance to static pressure of molded fiber packagings. The tests were carried out to check whether in the case of molded packagings for eggs, the criterion for assessing their strength, based on determining the maximum force transferred by empty packaging, without taking into account its deformations, can be accepted. The tests were carried out after conditioning the packages in various conditions to determine the effect on the value of resistance to static pressure and deformation caused by the moisture content of the fiber material.
