Abstrakty

EN

In Poland, recent social and economic transformation facing both rural areas and agriculture, particularly in the process of preparation for hopeful membership in the EU, would not be possible without an active participation of farmers and the local communities. The purpose of the conference was to draw its participants’ attention to some problems and obstacles occurring while producer groups are being established and run. Finally, during the conference some conclusions and postulates addressed to agricultural advisory centers were worked out to support their activity and to improve their effectiveness.
