The aim of presented studies was the biotic interaction of Bacillus subtilis and Pseudomonas fluorescens with the Fabaceae pathogens: Sclerotinia sclerotiorum, Botrytis cinerea, Fusarium oxysporum and Rhizoctonia solani. The fungi were isolated from Phaseolus vulgaris, Medicago sativa, Vicia faba, Trifolium repens, Lupinus angustifolius, Lupinus albus and Lupinus luteus. After 2 and 5 days of dual cultivation the inhibition zone between the bacteria and each of the fungus isolates was measured. Both isolates of bacteria inhibited the growth of fungi on PDA medium. The highest antagonistic activity showed P. fluorescens after 2 days in dual cultivation with S. sclerotiorum (1240).
