EN

Atrichopogon horni KIEFFER, 1925 from Sri Lanka is redescribed, illustrated and placed in the subgenus Atrichopogon s. str. Palpomyia schmidti GOETGHEBUER, 1934 from Iraq is redescribed and recognized as a new senior synonym of Palpomyia miki GOETGHEBUER, 1934.
