PL

Celem niniejszego opracowania jest analiza hipotezy bezzatrudnieniowego wzrostu gospodarczego w teorii ekonomii i w krajach o różnym poziomie rozwoju gospodarczego. Analizie empirycznej poddano kraje należące do tzw. gospodarczej Triady (USA, Unia Europejska, Japonia, Chiny, Indie). W artykule wykorzystano metodę badawczą opartą na studiach literaturowych z zakresu makroekonomii i finansów oraz metody ekonometryczne (klasyczna metoda najmniejszych kwadratów – Ordinary Least Squares). Wszystkie dane statystyczne wykorzystane w badaniu miały częstotliwość roczną i obejmowały okres od 1990 roku do 2012 roku. Dane te pochodziły z bazy statystycznej międzynarodowego stowarzyszenia firm – The Conference Board Total Economy Database. Na podstawie przeprowadzonych badań ujawniono występowanie zjawiska bezzatrudnieniowego wzrostu gospodarczego w Chinach i Indiach. Natomiast w przypadku USA, UE-15 i Japonii stwierdzono wstępowanie pozytywnego wpływu wzrostu gospodarczego na zmiany zatrudnienia. Wyniki przeprowadzonych badań mogą stanowić punkt wyjścia do dalszych, szczegółowych analiz zmierzających do skonstruowania strategii wzrostu i rozwoju gospodarczego kraju, przy jednoczesnym zachowaniu optymalnej równowagi między promowaniem zatrudnienia i wzrostu wydajności pracy.

The aim of this study is to analyze jobless growth hypothesis in economic theory and in countries with different levels of economic development. In empirical analysis were used countries of the so-called economic Triad (U.S., EU-15, Japan, China, India). In the article were used the research method based on the literature study in the field of macroeconomics and finance and econometric methods (Ordinary Least Squares). All statistics used in the study had an annual frequency and covered the period from 1990 to 2012. These data came from the statistical database of the international association of companies - The Conference Board Total Economy Database. On the basis of the study it was revealed the phenomenon of jobless growth in China and India. However, in the case of the USA, the EU-15 and Japan it was confirmed the positive impact of economic growth on changes in employment. The results of the investigation can be a starting point for further studies aimed to construction of a strategy for growth and economic development in Poland, while maintaining an optimum balance between the promotion of employment and labor productivity growth.
