In 2005–2007 studies were carried out on weed regulation methods in pea crop swith cultivar Wiato. The experiment was designed by split-plot in 3. replications. The following factors were taken into account: I – three sowing rates, II – five weed control methods. The highest yield of seeds was achieved when sowing rate 125 seeds per 1 m2 and it amounted to 2.92 t/ha. The lowest yield was recorded with the sowing rate 75 seeds per 1 m2 – the average yield was 2.18 t/ha. Considering the used weed control methods the highest yield of seeds was achieved in the object on which the chemical weed control method directly after sowing using the preparation dispersive Afalon 450 SC at the dose 1.5 dm3/ha. Some good results were also obtained with the herbicides Basagran 600 SL at the dose 2.0 dm3/ha + Fusilade Forte 150 EC at the dose 1.5 dm3/ha applied on pea plants at a height of 5 cm. Air dry weight of weeds determined in both cases depended on cultivation methods, sowing rate and the years of performed studies. Significant differences were stated between mechanical weeding and the other control methods with the use of herbicide.
