An attempt at the evaluation of the leucocytic index of inflammation by Kelif-Kelifa method was undertaken in 164 patients with trichinellosis to find out to what extent the inflammation process itself can be registered by this method and to what degree the allergic reaction becomes manifest within the leucocytic system. The hitherto obtained results point to the efficiency of the leucocytic index of inflammation in the course of trichinellosis for the registration of the dynamics of the disease and evaluation of alternating inflammatory-allergic phases with concurrent confrontation with the clinical picture.
