Zioła mogą być pomocne w leczeniu niewydolności krążenia, stabilnej postaci choroby wieńcowej. Surowce głogu mają istotne znaczenie w leczeniu niektórych stanów związanych z układem krążenia. W przeciwieństwie do kardenolidów zawartych w zielu miłka wiosennego i zielu konwalii majowej powodują one efekt chronotropowo i dronotropowo pozytywny. Fitoterapia odgrywa ważną rolę w terapii przewlekłej niewydolności żylnej i w leczeniu hemoroidów.

Herbs may be helpful in the treatment of coronary disease in its stable form. The raw material of hawthorn play a big role in the treatment of several circulatory disorders. In contrast to cardenolides, contained in the herb of spring adonis and the herb of lily of the valley, they induce positive chronotropic and dronotropic effects. Phytotherapy plays an important role in venous insufficiency and haemorrhoids treatment.
