Podczas zbioru pobrano próby z 1 m2 w następujących fazach rozwojowych: pąkowanie, początek kwitnienia, pełnia kwitnienia, koniec kwitnienia i dojrzałość pełna. Następnie próby te wysuszono i rozdrobniono. Żelazo i mangan oznaczono metodą ICP-AES, po mineralizacji „na sucho”. Obliczenia statystyczne wykazały istotne zróżnicowanie w zawartości żelaza i manganu w biomasie rutwicy wschodniej (Galega orientalis LAM.) w zależności od roku uprawy i fazy rozwojowej. Średnia zawartość żelaza w suchej masie rośliny testowej wynosiła 259,66 mg∙kg-1, a manganu 40 mg∙kg-1. Największe ilości żelaza i manganu oznaczono w liściach rośliny testowej w trzecim roku uprawy. Rozpatrując poszczególne fazy rozwojowe rutwicy wschodniej należy stwierdzić, że w fazie dojrzałości pełnej oznaczono najwięcej żelaza, natomiast manganu w końcowej fazie kwitnienia i w fazie dojrzałości pełnej.

Iron and manganese belong to the microelements which the optimal content in the fooder have a positive influence on its quality. Those elements as the components of emzymes, take the part in the photosynthesis, cells respiration and nitrogen metabolism. The aim of this investigation was the estimation of changes in iron and manganese content depending on the year of cultivation and the growth phase. The presented results were obtained on the basis of two field experiments carried out in the third and seventh year of cultivation. During the harvest samples of the goat’s rue biomass were taken from the area of 1 m2 at the following growth phase: budding, begin of flowering, full flowering, end of flowering and full ripeness. After that the samples were dried and crushed. Iron and manganese were determinated by the ICP-EAS method in the solution obtained after dry mineralization method of biomass. The content of iron and manganese was significiantly differentiated in the biomass of goat’s rue upon the influence of the year of cultivation and the growth phase. The mean content of iron in the dry mass of goat’s rue biomass reached 259.66 mg∙kg-1 and manganese 40 mg∙kg-1. The highest content of iron and manganese was determinated in the leaves in the third year of cultivation. Taking under consideration the growth phase of goat’s rue it should be pointed out that at the full ripeness phase the highest content of iron was determined in the biomass of goat’s rue while as the content of manganese was the highest in the biomass harvested at the end of the flowering phase and full ripeness phase.
