The work is an analysis of spatial diversification of labour resources on family farms studied in three different regions of Poland with diversified socio-economic conditions of agriculture. The materials for the analysis were obtained by means of a survey, using the interview questionnaire, conducted in 1996 and 2007on a representative group of randomly selected farms. The analysis covered the structure of employment, socio-professional character of peasant families, farmers' opinions on the farm area, structure of education, etc. The studies revealed considerable diversification among farms with respect to labour resources, scale and course of farm polarization process and their multidirectional development conditioned by historical development and current socio-economic relations.
