Non-government agencies play important role in socio-economic transition of particular regions. Presented research proved great impact of such agencies on development of entrepreneurship and regional development on many levels. Strengths of such activities are: good work organisation, efficient management system, good team work, fulfilling partnership and project agreements, good relations with local partners. Weaknesses are: lack of market research, inadequate adjustment of their offers to market needs, weak promotion. Barriers, that hinder development of such agencies are: market opening by big foreign firms with adequate capital, limited demand on proposed services, competitiveness. Chances for such firms development are: looking for new markets for their services and expertise, modernising of methods of market activities, better utilisation of possible participation in projects and financial support.
