Największą zawartość fosforu ogółem uzyskano w glebie i bulwach pobranych z obiektów nawożonych obornikiem w dawce 80 t·ha-1.

The aim of the present paper was to determine changes in the total content of phosphorus in Luvisol and in potato tubers due to FYM and nitrogen fertilization. Potato was grown in two fields with different crop rotations: crop rotation A and crop rotation B, respectively, soil organic-matter depleting and enriching. There were also investigated the changes in the activity of alkaline and acid phosphatase depending on the mineral and organic fertilization. For the purpose of the analyses, soil was sampled from a many-year field experiment set up at the Agricultural Experiment Station at Grabów IUNG in Puławy. The first experimental factor involved FYM fertilization in the following doses: 0, 20, 40, 60 and 80 t·ha-1, while the second factor - nitrogen fertilization in 0, 45, 90 and 135 kg N·ha-1. The content of total phosphorus ranged from 0.300 to 0.391 g·kg-1 in „A” crop rotation soil and 0.333 to 0.448 g·kg-1 ih „B” crop rotation. The highest significant content of total phosphorus was recorded in soil and in tubers from the treatments with FYM in the dose of 80 t·ha-1. A higher activity of phosphatases was determined in the soil sampled from the „enriching” crop rotation treatments as compared with the „depleting” crop rotation soil activity. Increasing FYM doses resulted in the increase in the activity of the phosphomonoesterases researched. The present results of the activity of alkaline and acid phosphates were applied to calculate the values of the enzymatic index of pH level ranging from 0.43 to 0.50.
