Field experiments were carried out in 2007–2009 in a long-term rye monoculture, at the faculty Research Station SGGW in Skierniewice. They were performed in 5 objects: Ca, CaNPK, NPK, Ca + FYM every year, CaNPK + FYM every 4 years. In the autumn in rye monoculture herbicide Expert Met 56 WG was applied at the dose 0.35 kg/ha. The highest efficacy of this herbicide was observed in treatments CaNPK, CaNPK + FYM every 4 years, and NPK. The mean level of weed control (> 70%) was obtained in Ca and Ca + FYM treatments every year. The investigated herbicide in all fertilized objects was very effective against: Lithospermum arvense, Anthemis arvensis and Matricaria inodora. Viola arvensis and Galium aparine were characterized by a low susceptibility to metribuzin + flufenacet.
