Porównano także liczbę pędów otrzymanych z jednej rośliny, wysokość roślin i procent roślin kwitnących otrzymanych z rozmnażania wegeta¬tywnego i generatywnego.

The subject of this paper is to present relationships between reproduction ways and areas of occur¬rence of individual Solidago taxa. The experiment included to the term energy and power of germi¬nation of seeds and vegetative propagation ability of goldenrods taxa. In analysis the germination of seeds there were examined: the time elapsed since the collection of seeds, the term of sowing and substrate on percentage of germinated seeds. The number of shoots received from one plant shoot's height and percent of flowering plants obtained from vegetative and generative reproduction after two vegetation seasons. Taxon, which characterized of the highest number of germinated seeds in all analyzed terms and conditions is Solidago canadensis. The least germination ability was observed in S. virgaurea seeds, this species had also the most seeds attacked by fungal pathogens. There was a significant increase in germination if seeds of S. graminifolia in last 6 years. The most shoots out of one plant after two vegetation seasons produced S. graminifolia. This species characterized also the highest percent of flowering plants. The significant decrease of the seeds germination were observed for all Solidago species after first year of storage the seeds. Presented results confirm the thesis, that the potential range of the North American goldenrods in Europe is much larger than the actual. This refers mainly to S. graminifolia, what species is in the adaptation phase (lag phase) or its range is limited by other factors than climate.
