W artykule przedstawiono główne ekonomiczne uwarunkowania spożycia mięsa w Polsce w latach 2013-2017, związane z rozwojem krajowej produkcji i podaży mięsa, zmianami PKB i dochodów ludności oraz cen detalicznych artykułów mięsnych. Zobrazowano zmiany poziomu i struktury spożycia mięsa według danych bilansowych GUS oraz wyników badań budżetów gospodarstw domowych. Zidentyfikowano kierunki i skalę zmian popytu na poszczególne grupy wyrobów mięsnych, określono rangę samozaopatrzenia w mięso i jego przetwory oraz zwrócono uwagę na wydatny wzrost poziomu konsumpcji tych produktów w najbiedniejszych gospodarstwach domowych. Wskazano główne kierunki zmian spożycia mięsa w 2018 r

This paper presents the main economic conditions for consumption of meat in Poland during 2013-2017, associated with the development of domestic production and supply of meat, changes in GDP and personal income and retail prices of meat products. Changes in the level and structure of consumption of meat according to data from Central Statistical Office (GUS) and the results of research into household budgets are presented. Indications are given for the direction and scale of change in the demand for specific groups of meat products, for the scale of self-supply of meat and processed meat and attention is drawn to the significant increase in consumption of these products in the poorest households. The article presents the main directions of change in the demand for meat products in 2018 year
