The present article is the second part of the article published in No 3-4/2011 of the quarterly and presents the results of field work. The preceding part contains description of assumptions and manner of performing the task involving the attempt to present the functioning of vegetation on existing and technically separated biological areas using the SWOT method. Biological surfaces of different sizes, which make up the total proportional volume of the town-planning standard, that is, the „biologically active area", were treated as independent structures of variable internal conditions exposed to different, variable external factors. A variety of features of these surfaces and of the vegetation within them as well as of varied external impacts was presented on the example of a residential area in Warsaw.
