The most popular topic in this time is food's role in the obese person's lifestyle. Lack of vegetables and fruit has not been an issue in the past 10 years. It is more an issue of traditional Czech cuisine prefers more fatty meat and dumplings. This is changing; the younger generation tends to westernize its food intake. But this does not mean improvement. As a valid tool in the primary prevention of those the authors consider the monitoring of the selected components including selected anthropometrical and biochemical parameters. Project of health support is intervened program for obese patients with DM II. The relation between cardiovascular disease (CVD), type 2. Diabetes (DM II) and obesity is long-recognized risk for mortality and morbidity. Only DM II. is associated with two - to four-fold excess risk of CVD. Our objective was possibility of change of selected biochemical parameters, especially those, which are generally used as risk indices for the origin and development of cardiovascular diseases only using arrangement diet customs. First results proved a positive effect of a targeted reduction diet on obese persons. Reduction of body weight lead to decrease of the following levels TCHOL, LDL and increase of HDL. Decline of body weight lead to decrease of cardiovascular risk.
